Your Mental Health Is Your True Wealth

This is highly concerning for the future, as there are already plenty of incidents and reports showing a rise of mental health issues and self-destructive behaviours amongst expats in Asian countries. To mitigate these problems, the aim is to raise awareness, decrease the stigma and advocate for better mental health support in Asia.

However, this will be a gradual campaign, so for now the best course of action to start with is to provide professional and compassionate therapeutic support to those being neglected in their new country of residence.

Within the past few decades, the world has seen an unprecedented increase in globalisation like never before, which has led many to find opportunities in places away from their home countries.

According to the statistics by the IOM in 2024, the largest influx of interantional migrants was in Asia and the rate will continue to grow as the years go by.

Moving to a foreign land can be exciting yet daunting, especially when it’s hard to grasp a new language, understand a completely different culture or be prepared for any unforeseen events. A significant number of expats are facing difficulties, but unfortunately there isn't much suitable professional support in many Asian countries, which makes many expats feel alienated.
